The time has come to pull out those fluffy scarves and warm sweaters everyone! This Floridian weather is probably teasing us and this time next week you’ll see me in shorts again. Ahh, the joys of living in a semi tropical environment. So while we have this cold – 52 degree – weather, might as well use it! In my opinion, knit sweaters, infinite scarves, and jeans are the best combo when transitioning from fall to winter. So, this week, I’ve put together a multi-functional outfit that will get your winter weather wardrobe started!
This sweater is something I’d call an oldie but goldie, the type of sweater that never goes out of style and you can wear just about anything with! An added bonus; You can get these sweaters in just about any color that pleases your mix-matching mind! I’ve paired mine with a hand knit infinite scarf that my mom got while we were in New York a few winters ago. I use this scarf every winter, and I always have people asking my where I got it and – of course – feeling how soft it is! Like I’ve mentioned before, anything that I wear goes through a test that deems itself soft and comfy. If it’s itchy or uncomfortable in any way, I won’t wear it! So, when looking through any of my outfit posts just know that they’ll always be soft and comfortable!
I recently went shopping for a new pair of dark jeans and the second I saw these jeans at American Eagle, I instantly fell in love! All of American Eagle’s jeans have always been so stretchy and they always fit so well! I usually have a lot of trouble finding and buying jeans, because some will be to short or to long or the rise doesn’t fit right, but I’ve never had any issues with American Eagle! The last piece in my outfit are these converse high tops. I’m usually not big on joining the trendy bandwagon but once I saw these converse I had to have them. So far, they’ve been an amazing investment and I’ve worn them every single day since I got them! You really can’t go wrong with a pair of converse!
